Polaroids time

Not much to say in this post...Polaroids show if a model has potential, if camera loves her, if she is photogenic. Here are some Eugenia's polaroids and show cards...old ones from Viva agency and the latest I have from DNA agency.

How do you smell?

Well, she didn't become J'adore's face but I think it's a big loss for Dior House and not for Eugenia cause she got a fair amount of contracts with other beauty brands. So since 2003 she represents Salvatore Ferragamo's "Incanto" exquisitely captivating floral and woody fragrance appering in ads as a seminude modern Cinderella who lost her crystal shoe and whose dreams will come true as soon as she tries this fragrance.
"Her" second second fragrance was fruited floral YSL's "In love again", in its ads she emerges as the romantic girl who dreams of everlasting love, or at least, of falling in love again.

And the biggest success was to represent Valentino's "V" fragrance. In print and television commercial campaigns Eugenia emerges as a modern goddess, wearing only a red-feather mask, and besieged by hundreds of fluttering red Vs. Here is what she thinks about it: "Valentino is so special because he can transform every woman into a shining, glamorous goddess... Valentino’s clothes make me confident in my femininity. It felt the same way to be wearing just the red feather mask during the shoots"

Cheeeeeese!!!

She always seems so serious sitting with a book somewhere in the corner or speaking on mobile phone with her boyfriend (her second passion), cold like Ice queen and so far from this world on the runway... But it's only first impression. If you watch any video where she is talking you'll see she is a normal girl who likes to smile, who is a bit shy and cute. This post is devoted to another... smiling Eugenia who loves to dance and laugh at backstage.

A visit to homeland

On November 23 (2005) Eugenia, Naomi Campbell and Marc Jacobs came to Moscow. They flew here by personal plane. Then they visited The Central House of an Artist and had a supper in one of the restaurants of Moscow.
Using this case Harper's Bazaar Russia asked her to adorn its anniversary March cover. Photo shoot was held when it was about 5 degrees below zero and Zhenya was wearing summery Louis Vuitton dress but she is a professional and this cold weather couldn't hinder the process. Marc Jacobs who says Eugenia is one of his favourite models chose the clothes for this cover.

Wild elegance

This photo shoot is from Italian Vogue (October 2005). It was photographed by Nathaniel Goldberg. I like the feeling of unceasing motion, it's energy, the way Eugenia's hair is fluttering, this rush, some alarm, this excitement like something will happen soon, something mysterious in everything: in model's pose, in her look, in decoration and interior and black&white gamut promotes the strengthening of these emotions.

I'll decorate your way with flowers

This editorial from Russian Vogue (April 2004) is one of my favourite editorials ever! The idea of this photo shoot was inspired by flowers. Zhenya looks like a beautiful butterfly with these long lashes, light-pink lipstick and of course in these fantastic Houte Couture dresses, so airy, fairy and weightless like whipped cream on a cake. Karl Lagerfeld is a genious, isn't he!
